Ergh, I've had one of my less amusing days. I had to go see a doctor today and I have never been so humiliated and sick. *Shakes head* Seriously, I'm not saying more than that but I have had to avoid others. It brought my temper out which is hard and I have a pretty nasty temper...but I still feel sick on top of everything else.

Anyway I haven't been able to figure out why my pictures are so big yet but I have a couple that aren't too big, so...

This is my main cat when he was just a little kitten, ha hard to imagine that he's grow into a meter long wuss huh?

This is him now. He's sitting on a pile of my Dad's clothing as he was trying to pack for a night away. Salem has this fasciantion with sitting on shoes *shrug* Don't know why.

With my cat Pebbles the only one I could find of her was one when she was a kitten and I'm holding her. I'm like four in the picture, oddly enough I can still remember that day. And as for my other cat Misty...she's an oddball but for some reason her photo is still huge. But I shall figure it out!

Ergh, anyway I'm going to go find some disraction!

I think I've figured out the knack with photos. Are you using photoshop? With my art, if I want it smaller</> then I save it at the higher/highest quality in JPEG - this makes the file HUGE and forces photobucket to shrink it. Another thing I've figured out is actually changing the size of the image. That is, if the photo is 4 x 6 - then change it to 3 (the computer will adjust the other measurement on it's own), or even smaller if need be.

If you want artwork to show up as larger then saving an image on a lower compression (pixels per inch) will cause that to happen. For example, in my recent art post, I wanted the detail image to show up large so I saved it on 7 while I saved the FULL image on 12 to keep the size reasonable. I hope that helps.

Your cat is lovely. I smiled to look at the photos. Salem is a perfect name for him. All cats seem to like to "help" by sitting on whatever you are doing. He, he. My cats were all large too BTW, which was a good idea since we are large people. Therefore, I still like bigger cats. My favorite shall always be an orange tabby, the first sort I ever owned but one of his sons was a black kitty that we kept. Our female was taken with shoes too; especially my mother's worn out slippers. It cracked us up. All the cats had odd habits though.

I'm sorry for the rough doctor's visit. I know how those go. Keep that eye out for your gaurdian angels.

Now to figure out the knack...

for writing code. *stares at italics* Ahn, I'll leave it. Long night.

I can do that!

*Smile* Don't worry about the italics...but long night? I hope that your dinner with your friend was okay!

Yeah, I know Doctors vists are a bit of a bane for you too but you are right. Last night when I could find no more distraction I spoke with my angel, and I finally fell asleep wrapped in a warm glow.

Okay...I'll give a try at your suggestions for the pics. Thank you! *Shakes head* How I don't break everything I touch I shall never know.

I love my sweetie. He's one of the few things in the world that I go gooey over in public *laugh* my friends never quite believe it. Though it does have to be said that whilst he looks all big and manly and strong he is actually the biggest wuss you could ever hope to meet. Its cute in a kinda twisted way. He cowers behind that sofa whilst Misty (who is tiny ) goes on the attack! And yes too true, Cat's seems to be very good at 'helping'.

Heh, large people large cats I like the theory. Unfortunatly for poor Salem not on of us in this house is over 5'5...so when anyone taller comes into the house he runs away as though they are a giant. My first cat was a orange tabby too, Theo, he's was such a sweetie. But I adore pretty much any cat though moggy's over purebreeds anyday I think.

And I'm also very thankful for my cats odd habits, they amuse me endlessly on a daily basis! :D

No worries. Long night because I mosly kept the subject on raunchy things and we wore well into the night with discussion and so forth. *ahem* We also watched an episode of South Park where Carter's hand was doing an impersonation of Jennifer Lopez run amuck. Senior Wences from an oold American latenight talk show (one, if not, the first) was the inspiration there. He was a famous ventriloquist also known for his talking hand as well as an imaginary talking mouse named Topo Gigio.

Your very blessed indeed to be able to call upon such abilities. I must practice that.

As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed those pet stories. My friend is terribly attatched to their solid black cat and would enjoy such tales as well. Salem and Misty sound wonderful. My cats would tackle us at the door, but they scrammed if strangers entered the home! Cats, what cats? They used to amuse me too. I thought of them as my furry brothers and sisters.

*Grin* Ah well, as long as it was a late night due to a 'good' discussion thats okay.

Its honestly not that hard to do once you get the knack. I'm not sure how I stumbled upon it. Now all I have to do is call out to him and he's there ready to comfort me. Right now he's got his work cut out...I get my exam results in a few hours and may be a bit nervous, heh.

Really, I wouldn't get me started on pet stories. I've got a whole wealth of them. For example Salems brother (who unfortunatly died) his nickname Gentleman Giles (the 'g' sound is 'ju' just incase you didn't know) came from the fact that when you'd walk around the garden he'd trot along at your heels and when you got to the door he'd nudge it open before stepping back and letting you through. He was a cutie too.......oops there I go again! *zips lip* hehe

I'm very sorry you've been so sick. Hopefully I can distract you, if only for the few seconds it takes to read this.

Thanks for posting pictures! It's very typically cat-like to lay on piles of clothes, shedding.

I was looking at your cat pics when my own cats decided to take the appropriate opportunity to act up. I had to go break up a catfight, so my toast burned and set off the smoke detector!

Also appropriately, this was the picture for the day (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b186/initialaitch/cat-smack.jpg) at engrish.com today. That site is always entertaining.

Take care!

*Hug* Yeah, its always lovely to hear from you. Yeah, me and distractions go hand in hand at the moment. I'm getting my results tomorrow so just another thing to try to ignore lol.

Heh, I though of you when I put up these pics. *Giggles* Cats just have the perfect timing don't they. Pity about the toast though, don't know why but burning toast always really bugs me.

*Laugh* Thats a great pic!! Hehe, love it.
