I think I've figured out the knack with photos. Are you using photoshop? With my art, if I want it smaller</> then I save it at the higher/highest quality in JPEG - this makes the file HUGE and forces photobucket to shrink it. Another thing I've figured out is actually changing the size of the image. That is, if the photo is 4 x 6 - then change it to 3 (the computer will adjust the other measurement on it's own), or even smaller if need be.
If you want artwork to show up as larger then saving an image on a lower compression (pixels per inch) will cause that to happen. For example, in my recent art post, I wanted the detail image to show up large so I saved it on 7 while I saved the FULL image on 12 to keep the size reasonable. I hope that helps.
Your cat is lovely. I smiled to look at the photos. Salem is a perfect name for him. All cats seem to like to "help" by sitting on whatever you are doing. He, he. My cats were all large too BTW, which was a good idea since we are large people. Therefore, I still like bigger cats. My favorite shall always be an orange tabby, the first sort I ever owned but one of his sons was a black kitty that we kept. Our female was taken with shoes too; especially my mother's worn out slippers. It cracked us up. All the cats had odd habits though.
I'm sorry for the rough doctor's visit. I know how those go. Keep that eye out for your gaurdian angels.
